About Our School

Our Catholic elementary school (Full Day Kindergarten to Grade 8) is located in Burlington, Ontario in the Halton Region. As of September 2018, we have approximately 525 students registered at the school. We also offer Early French Immersion for grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.  Our school is one of four schools in this program.

We thrive in cooperative partnership that involves the school, the pastoral team of St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church and the home in the exalted mission of Catholic education. It is the faith-centered focus and immersion in our Catholic values that make us unique.

We nurture spiritual discipleship and pursue academic excellence, emulating our Lord Jesus, the Master Teacher.

To the many new families in our community, we welcome you. We encourage you to become involved in the school as attentive parents, as parent volunteers and as active supporters of the school’s community.

This website is one of the many means by which we communicate with our families. Much of our communication is done by way of email, so it is very important that you make sure the school has your current email address on file.

We look forward to an exciting and joyful year at Sacred Heart of Jesus School, enriching our partnership with the church, home and community. Please do not hesitate to contact the school should you have any questions or concerns at any time throughout the school year.

“Above all, maintain constant love for one another,

for love covers a multitude of sins.

Be hospitable to one another without complaining.

Like good stewards of the manifold Grace of God,

serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.

Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God,

whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies,

so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ.”

1 Peter 4: 7-11
