Bullying Awareness Week
Once again, the Halton Catholic District School Board will be participating in National Bullying Awareness Week. During Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week, Ontario students, school staff, and parents are encouraged to learn more about bullying and its effects on student learning and well-being
This year the theme is Rebuild, Restore, Renew together. As a Catholic school community we believe that each of us is made in the image of God, worthy of dignity, kindness and respect. This week, and every week at SHOJ we work to ensure that our school is a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment where everyone belongs.
We will be holding Parent-Teacher Interviews on Thursday, November 25th from 4:00 – 8:30 pm and Friday, November 26th from 9:00 am – 1:45 pm. Once again, this year, you will be able to schedule your Parent-Teacher Interviews online. You should have received an email last week outlining the steps for accessing the Parent-Teacher Interview System. You will be able to access the system to schedule your appointments until November 24th at 11:00 pm.
The numbers are in! Our Indigo FUNdraiser was a tremendous success! Our SHOJ library will be receiving just over $1300 which will be used to purchase more books and library materials for our students. Thank you to our SHOJ community for your generosity and support of this fundraiser!
