This is our final Weekly Update for this very unique year! We wish a happy and safe summer to our staff, students and families! Congratulations as well to our Grade 8 Graduates of the Class of 2021. May God bless you all!

Pickup of Student Materials/Drop off of Learning Materials
Monday, June 28th is your opportunity to pick up your child’s materials (any materials from their desk/cubby or locker & any auto injectors/medication) from the school, as well as bring back textbooks, learning materials, Library books and borrowed technology and chargers.
Please note that all devices (including SEA equipment) will need to be returned by the end of June, unless students are enrolled in a HCDSB summer learning program and they require the device for learning.
Students are allowed to accompany their parent to say farewell to their teacher.

NOTE: Educators will provide asynchronous tasks for students on June 28th and June 29th. Special education students who are currently receiving instruction in-school will continue to do so until the last day of school – June 29th.
Mental Health Summer Supports
Throughout the summer months, the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) will be offering individual and group mental health supports and programs to students.
The available supports will promote self-regulation and stress-management skills, and will help students as they transition into the new school year.

Halton Public Health Booking Vaccination Appointments for 12+
Beginning Monday, May 31st, youth aged 12 years of age and over who live or attend school in Halton will be able to book their COVID-19 vaccination through Halton Region’s online booking system.

Class Lists for 2021-22
As per HCDSB procedure, all parents of students entering grades 1-8 will receive an email on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 with details about their child’s class placement for 2021-22. You will also receive details about the first day of school procedures.
Parents of students entering JK and SK will receive a letter in the mail by the beginning of July. This will indicate their child’s class placement and time for their parent-teacher-child interview scheduled for either September 7-8 and their scheduled staggered entry for their first day of school.
Burlington Public Library Summer Reading Club
As summer arrives, Burlington Public Library is happy to announce that we are once again offering our free annual Summer Reading Club (SRC) this June, July, and August.

- All ages: This year, we’re including everyone, from birth to adults.
- Online: We’re keeping it simple—all reading club activities are on our website.
- Flexible: Set your own goals and we’ll help you stay motivated.
- Weekly lists: Do one, do them all, do something else. You’ll find weekly lists of books, resources, and activity suggestions for every age group.
- Virtual Programs: Participate in our virtual programs for all ages.
