School Cash Online

As you know, we have made several modifications to how we operate to mitigate the risk of COVID-19. As part of those modifications, we ask you to use our online payment system to purchase school items when possible.  Cash can play a significant role in virus transmission, and we are working toward following the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations to use contactless payments to mitigate virus spread.

Click here for instructions on how to set up your School Cash Online account.

Benefits of online payment:

Convenient: You can pay when you want and how you want.

Secure: Our online payment provide School Cash Online is designed with financial security at its core. Your payments are securely processed.

Less Loss: Children no longer carry cash that they can misplace or forget.

Safety: Children are no longer targets of theft.

Thank you in advance for helping us implement processes, like paying online, to keep everyone safe.

Parking Lot Safety

Our school parking lots are busy areas, especially during drop off and pick up times. All drivers are called upon to drive with Caution, Patience, and Respect on school property.

Parents are reminded that if you choose to park in the East parking lot on the Kindergarten side, you must park in a designated spot.

When picking up or dropping off students in the West parking lot (closest to Walker’s Line) parents are reminded that you must park in a designated spot if choosing to wait for your child outside of your car.

Do not exit your car if parked along the Kiss and Ride area.

If you are parking in the neighbourhood and walking the rest of the way, please ensure you obey all signage and do not block driveways.

As always, please share our parking lot information and reminders with anyone who picks up your children (i.e. grandparents, caregivers, etc.).

St. Paul the Apostle Parish Update

Greetings to our parish schools. The  Society of St Vincent de Paul organizes an exceptional Angel Tree program each year that supports a large number of people in our community (not just the parish community) – they provide gifts and support to entire families, elderly in our nursing homes who are not financially independent, residents of Bethany Residence and many more. This year they are restricted to collecting financial contributions only, and from there will purchase gifts, food vouchers and needed personal items for those they serve.

Please consider supporting the St. Vincent de Paul Angel Tree Program 2020. Donations of cash or cheque can be brought to the parish or you may prefer to make an online donation. Your support is deeply appreciated and will go a long way towards making this Christmas special a great many in our community.

Keeping Christ in Christmas Student Contest

With Christmas just around the corner, the Halton Catholic District School Board will once again be running its Keeping Christ in Christmas student contest! This year, the contest will be open for entries from October 28th through November 25th, 2020.

Students are asked to submit work that best describes the theme of the contest, Keeping Christ in Christmas, and highlight in their individual submissions how we can all do our part to Keep Christ in Christmas.

To minimize the distribution of paper and for the health and safety of our students, staff and school communities, the Board will be accepting submissions ONLINE ONLY this year. Student work can be entered into the contest through an online form available on the official contest page.

Click here for more information about the HCDSB contest.
