Getting Ready for the Return to School

Class Placement Lists

The class placement lists went live at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021. The link is found on the HCDSB website under the ‘Schools” tab, select ‘School Listing, then scroll down to the ‘Class Placement/Student Timetables’ link. Due to the volume of students and parents accessing the link, expect delays. Parents can go to Power School and sign in directly at: hcdsb.powerschool.com.

The Board Communications department has instructions on Twitter and Instagram, and will send out an email to all parents.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we migrate from Trillium to Power School.

OLV Health and Safety Protocols

Please review the Health and Safety Protocols for the return to school and gradual re-entry of students starting on Tuesday, September 7. Many of the Health and Safety protocols and routines established last September remain in effect and will be familiar to most students and parents. Staff will dedicate time to review and practice the routines and protocols with all the students to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease with the return to in-person learning. We ask parents to continue to review and model the Public Health protocols with your children.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
Sep 27 – Oct 7 all day

Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for the many blessings that we have such as good health, family, friends, shelter, and food. We will continue the initiative with our Thanksgiving Food Drive. As a school community, we have decided to support those in need through the Food for Life Food Drive. Food for Life has grown into the largest food recovery program in Halton Region bringing fresh and nutritious food to those in need. This year we will be able to collect non-perishable canned/boxed food.

Let’s work together as a school community to provide families in need with food this Thanksgiving.
