Highlights for this week…

HCCEF Annual Fundraiser – 24 Hour Fast

There is still time until June 30 to support the OLV Wolverine Team to raise money and awareness for the Halton Catholic Childrens’ Education Foundation (HCCEF). The Foundation met its goal and raised $25, 000 during its annual fundraiser – 24 Hour Fast on June 3 – 4! Can you help us exceed that goal? HCCEF provides funds, food and the basic necessities to support children and families impacted by poverty in our community and across Halton. Parents are welcome to join the OLV Team to raise money and/or make a donation. Every bit counts! Parent Access and Curbside Pick-Up

Board and school communications went home to parents on Friday, June 5 with an overview of the guidelines for parents to collect student belongings during the week of June 22-25, 2020. Parents will receive a scheduled time and date for each classroom to access the exterior of the school. Students are not permitted on school property. Staff will set up tables at a specified location with student belongings bagged and ready for curbside pick-up and designated areas where parents can drop off technology and other school resources – textbooks, library books, sports uniforms, and musical instruments. We appreciate your patience and understanding while the staff and I work to create a schedule in accordance with the Public Health protocols and Ministry guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.
