Catholic Education Week “Living as Joyful Disciples”
“Catholic schools are communities of accompaniment where the story of our salvation is known and shared, offering the encouragement that comes from knowing Jesus walks with us.” Renewing the Promise, page 7.
The OLV staff and students welcome parents and family members to the school and into the classrooms to celebrate Catholic Education Week from May 5 to May 10. A pamphlet went home to the parent community outlining the schedule of events and activities in each classroom. All are welcome to join us!
First Holy Communion
Congratulations to the Grade 2 students who celebrated the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Holy Rosary Church. Thank you to the pastoral team at Holy Rosary Parish, Fr. Peter, Fr. Artur, Mrs. Johnston, and Mrs. Borcsok, and to the teachers, Mrs. Martini, Mrs, Bledowski, and Miss Britto for all your hard work to prepare the students to receive First Holy Communion. Thank you to the parents and families for working in partnership – home, school, and Parish – as we journey together in faith.
