Picking Up Student Belongings on Thursday and Friday

  • We will be providing families with opportunities to pick up personal belongings and drop off items belonging to the school safely over the next few weeks. We have made some adjustments to our plan from last year to reflect the changes in public health guidelines as well as the changes in the online learning schedule.
  • Our pick up days for students’ personal belongings, including medications, will be next Thursday, June 17, and Friday, June 18 between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.
  • Our drop off days for technology and textbooks will be Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29 between 9 am and 3 pm.
  • I would ask that you please review the schedule and information below carefully, and, when coming to school, remember to:
    • Complete the COVID-19 school screening at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/school-screening/ to ensure that you are able to come to the school site. Please note that you will be asked to confirm that you have completed the screening when you arrive, and you will not be allowed to pick up your child’s belongings without having completed it.
    • Follow all public health guidelines about masking and distancing, particularly while in line.
    • Avoid congregating by going immediately to the designated school entrances and leaving school property as soon as you have picked up or dropped off your child’s belongings.
  • For more information, please see the attached letter, and contact the school office if you have any questions.

Grade 8 Graduation Drive-Through Sign Up

  • We are looking forward to celebrating our graduates!

We All Belong in Our Catholic School

  • We will continue to explore the themes of inclusion, the inherent dignity of the human person, how we are wonderfully made in God’s image, and how we can show solidarity with members of our community who identify as 2SLBGTQ+ in age-appropriate ways that are guided by our Catholic faith throughout the month of June.
  • June is also National Indigenous History Month, and an opportunity for us to learn more about the history and diversity of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples in Canada, as well as to reflect on their current challenges and successes as living and vibrant peoples. We are dedicated to deepening our learning about past and present injustices such as residential schools and furthering our commitment to truth, reconciliation and healing.
