Congratulations and Thank You for a Wonderful First Week!
- We are so proud of our students and staff for adapting so smoothly to learning online, and we are so grateful for the support from our families in making it happen. Thank you for everything you’ve done this week to keep the learning going!
- At the Ministry of Education’s direction, we will be learning online together until January 25. (For more information about the announcement, please see our website here.) The students have made great strides in learning how to use our technology, and also in making sure that they are treating others with respect in our online Catholic community. You can help by reviewing expectations with them using our Distance and Digital Learning Code of Conduct and modeling positive online behaviours yourselves. For example, please remind your children that even private chats aren’t private in our online platforms, that our communications with one another should be appropriate at all times, and that no one should be taking or sharing pictures of the online class without permission.
- Students who had previously confirmed their intention to move from online learning back to face-to-face learning will be able to return once the school is open, and we will look forward to seeing them then. We also wish our students will be joining new online classes at that time well as they continue their learning.
- Following Halton Public Health’s direction about limiting contacts and unnecessary trips, as well as remembering to practice mask wearing, proper hand hygiene, and distancing, will help to keep our community safe and hopefully get us back in the building on schedule!
Grade 7 Confirmation Form Deadline Extended
- As both the school and church offices are closed, we would ask that families of Grade 7 students who would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation please hold on to the forms for the moment and return them to us once we are back at school.
