ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Bonanza
On Monday, June 3rd, Our Lady of Fatima will be welcoming our Board’s Behaviour Analysts, Special Education Itinerant Team, Speech Language Pathologists, CDAs and CYCs as they will be setting up an ABA Bonanza to highlight and celebrate all of the amazing work being done across the system by educators using ABA methodology for any and all students who benefit from it! The ABA Bonanza will be held all day on June 3rd in our library.
Bike to School Week
Let’s get rolling! Join students and teachers across Ontario to celebrate Bike to School Week, Monday May 27 to Friday May 31, 2019.
OLF Spirit Day
On Friday, May 31st, we have a student council Spirit Day! Staff and students are encouraged to wear OLF gear or Blue and White to show School Pride! Follow the pictures on our school Twitter or follow the hashtag #OLFFantastic.
This week our Grade 3 classes will be writing the EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office) assessment. This is an assessment of Reading, Writing and Mathematics. These assessments provide opportunities for the students to demonstrate their achievement in these areas as outlined in The Ontario Curriculum. We appreciate your assistance in ensuring that students arrive to school on time and in scheduling any appointments around these 3 days.
Last Friday our ECO-team accepted our School Plaque for winning the “Lights Off Challenge”, well done OLF, we were able to conserve 35% of our energy consumption.
