Final Parent Update of 2021

Congratulations to our Grade 8 Graduates. We are proud of all that they have achieved and wish them all the best as they transition to high school. May God bless you and keep you safe as you continue to let your light shine!

Reminders & Information:

  • June 28 and June 29: A reminder that June 28th and June 29th are asynchronous days. Teachers will post asynchronous, independent work on their class D2L shells. Please note there are no Microsoft Teams meetings on Monday and Tuesday. The posting of asynchronous work will facilitate the curbside pick up process. As previously communicated curbside drop-off of school materials and pick-up of student belongings. Please see the schedule below:

  • Kindergarten Staggered Entry: A reminder to families with students in Kindergarten that we have a staggered entry. Tuesday, September 7th and Wednesday, September 8th are dedicated for parent interviews with the educator teams for students new to kindergarten. There is no instruction on those days. Thursday, September 9th half the Year 1 students and all the Year 2 students attend school; Friday, September 10th the other half of the Year 1 students and all the Year 2 students attend school. Monday, September 13th full entry for all kindergarten students. An email will go out to kindergarten families early next week with additional information.
  • Students with Medical Conditions: Any existing students with a medical condition will receive their current Student Plan of Care (along with any medication) at the curbside pick-up. There is a letter included with the Student Plan of Care. Pease review the information and review and update t he Student Plan of Care. The updated Plan of Care is to be returned to the school during the last week of August. Any new students with a medical condition will receive an email with the appropriate medical package. Parents are asked to print and complete the medical package and return to the school during the last week of August. If you have any questions about medical conditions please call the school Monday or Tuesday.
  • Early Dismissal: There will be early dismissal on Tuesday, June 29th. The school day will end at 1:20pm.
