Parent Update – April Spring Break

We would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Spring Break. 

COVID-19 ON-SITE STUDENT SELF SCREENING CONFIRMATION APRIL 19

There will be some new Covid guidelines upon our return and we will be sending out an email later next week to clarify our expectations here at the school. The Ministry has mandated tudents will need to provide proof they have completed the on-line screening tool Monday, April 19 before they are allowed entry inot the school.  Stya tuned for later this week when we will be providing options for how can provide this information to us.

FIRST COMMUNION

All parents of grades 2 and 3 students, both in school and virtual, should have received an email today with our new times and a letter from Father Jim.  We will be sending out another email shortly to inform you of which of the four ceremonies your child will be attending.  We apologize for this change but the new Provincial Guidelines on capacity has brought this aout.

HANGING BASKET FUNDRAISER FOR TECHNOLOGY IN THE SCHOOL

Our Catholic School Council has organized a Mother’s Day Hanging Basket Fundraiser in support of technology in the school.  Orders are due by the end of April.  Go to SchoolCash to place your order.

VIRTUAL BINGO NIGHT TWO

Our first evening of Virtual Bingo was such a success we have decided to have a second evening on April 28.  We hope to have this up on SchoolCash by mid week and will be sending out instructions on how to register early next week.  All money raised from this event will go towards funding our new iDARE initiatives.

iDARE

We have rebranded our Safe and Welcoming Schools Team into iDARE.  We will be having a Student Town Hall on Wednesday, April 21 at 3:30 and then a Parent Town Hall on Tuesday, May 4 at 6:30pm.  Please safe the date and we would love to see you all there virtually.
