School Update – Week of December 6, 2021

“Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.”

– Luke 3:4

With the second Sunday of Advent upon us, we reflect on the word “Peace” as we light the peace candle.  This is a time where we can look for situations in which we can be peacemakers.

Our challenge is to notice people who are not getting along and to think of one thing that we might do that could help them get along better.  It is a time to reflect on how we respond in challenging situations and to always act as Jesus has taught us.  We need to pray for peace at home, at school, at work, in the nation and in the world.  “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” – Matthew 5:9

We look forward to Mrs. Weber’s Grade 6 class who will be presenting our 2nd week of Advent Liturgy on Monday, December 6th at 12:45. We also thank Mr. Lucibello’s Grade 7 class who presented the 1st week of Advent Liturgy last Monday.
